Software for inventory management

Crumble keeps your stock with you: you record deliveries, write-offs and stocktakes in a couple of taps, and every sale writes off ingredients by recipe on its own. Stock levels always show what is actually on the shelf.

Problems and solutions

What inventory management solves

What happens when records live in someone's memory or a notebook, what it leads to, and how Crumble handles it.

How Crumble solves it

Knowing what is left

Stock is counted from memory or once a week in a notebook. Between counts nobody knows exactly how much milk, meat or cups there are.

Buying blind

Some things get bought in bulk and spoil, others run out mid-shift.

Stock updates after every operation

A sale, delivery, write-off or transfer changes stock right away. Open Crumble and see what is on the shelf.

Finding where stock went

A product ran out sooner than it should have, and nobody knows why: sold, thrown out or over-portioned.

Unexplained losses

If you cannot see where stock goes, you cannot do anything about losses.

History of every movement

Crumble keeps every operation: who received, sold, wrote off or moved stock, when, and at which location.

Honest write-offs

Spoiled goods are thrown out quietly or written off without a reason, and the numbers stop adding up.

Spoilage and shortage look the same

Without a reason on record, an expired product is indistinguishable from a mistake or theft.

Every write-off has a reason

Expired, spoiled, damaged, test use or a counting error — the reason, quantity, employee and time are saved with the write-off.

Running stocktakes

A count takes an evening, and the result stays in a notebook without touching the records.

Discrepancies pile up

A month of shortages adds up to real money, and nobody knows when it started.

Stocktakes correct stock

Enter the actual quantity and Crumble updates the stock and records the discrepancy. A significant one triggers a notification.

What it can do

What inventory in Crumble can do

Incoming goods

A milk delivery or a coffee purchase increases stock as soon as you confirm it.

Write-offs with a reason

Expired, spoiled, damaged, test use or a counting error — every write-off has a reason.

Stocktakes

The actual quantity replaces the calculated one, and the discrepancy stays in the history.

Expiry dates

Stock items have an expiry date, and Crumble warns you when it is close.

Minimum stock

Set a minimum and learn about a shortage before the item runs out.

Stock never goes negative

If there is not enough, Crumble stops the operation or shows a warning.

How it works

Four steps to order

01

Add stock items

Coffee, milk, meat, cups, packaging — with a unit, cost and minimum stock.

02

Receive deliveries

Record the delivery and stock goes up right away.

03

Sell

Every sale writes off ingredients by recipe, nothing to subtract by hand.

04

Check

Run a stocktake and see where the numbers drifted.

Works offline

The internet is gone.
The till is not.

Sales, write-offs and transfers are saved on the device and sent to the server once the network is back. Nothing gets lost or duplicated.

FAQ

Inventory questions

No. If a menu item has a recipe, Crumble writes off the ingredients itself. An item without a recipe, like a bottle of water, is written off as a whole.
